On Monday, May 14, 2018, I read an article by Chief Nick Opara-Ndudu. The article was his reply to earlier article by Chief CY Amako. Opara-Ndudu in his response repeated the story of how prominent sons and daughters of Owerri Zone ganged up against Dr Ikedi Ohakim and supported Governor Okorocha in 2011.

Study and appraisal of the past will always be a guide for the present and future. Ignoring this systematic process will mean over-looking plans towards success. We do not need the aid of a mountain to break a walnut. This aphorism by the renowned author and poet, Prof. Wole Soyinka, no doubt captures succinctly the gestures about why APGA failed to fly in 2015 in Imo. Many people have expressed anxiety why the party had its wings clipped in 2015 and could not repeat the 2011 feat. How would it then be in 2018?
