Business mogul and politician of repute from Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo state, Chief Jerry Chukwueke has re-emphasized the need for political unity among Ndigbo, insisting that with the restructuring mantra across the nation, every region is getting the signal for a regional political party that will negotiate its interest at the national level.

He urged Ndigbo to take a second look at themselves to avoid making the same mistakes of the past, pointing out that the only vehicle grown and nurtured by them to face the challenge of the proposed restructuring is the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). The business mogul therefore called for the full support of Ndigbo to the re-election of Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state whom he described as the living APGA spirit, warning that peradventure APGA loses in the November 18th election in Anambra state, Igbos would have become perpetual servants in the hands of political slave masters who have nothing good for the region.
The former PDP guber aspirant for the 2015 elections who later decamped to APC dropped this hint at the residence of the State Chairman of APGA, Barrister Peter Ezeobi in Owerri last Saturday while interacting with state and local government Working Committees of the party, stating that he had come to partner with the party for the purpose of building a stronger runway that will accommodate the great multitude of Imo people who desire a rancor free party like APGA to provide good and accountable governance to the people of the state in 2019. Responding the APGA Chairman, Barr Ezeobi assured him of the preparedness of the party to work with credible people like him and other stakeholders to return Imo State to their owners through their own party.
