Barely 10 days after unidentified armed men gruesomely murdered two officers of the Nigerian Customs Service while on official duty along Owerri-Aba road, particularly at Mbutu Okohia within the vicinity of Ngor Okpala council area of Imo state, another person, now a commercial motorcyclist (Okada rider) has been reportedly killed by as well yet to be known gunmen.

Barely 10 days after unidentified armed men gruesomely murdered two officers of the Nigerian Customs Service while on official duty along Owerri-Aba road, particularly at Mbutu Okohia within the vicinity of Ngor Okpala council area of Imo state, another person, now a commercial motorcyclist (Okada rider) has been reportedly killed by as well yet to be known gunmen.

According to reliable sources, the Okada operator whose name was given as Emmanuel Madugba from Umudu, Eziama in Ngor Okpala local government area of Imo state was allegedly  assassinated along Okpala-Mbaise road while on operational service.
The source furthered that Emmanuel popularly known as “Udugbo” picked two young men as passengers from Okpala junction to Mbaise. Bewilderedly, the source stated that barley few minutes he left the junction on that fateful Tuesday morning around 10.15am, passersby along the Okpala- Mbaise road precisely at Umuanum village started raising alarm of a man lying unconsciously near the bush on the pool of his blood.
Consequently, the Okada riders stormed the area only to be shocked that the man who left the area was speechless with wounds suspected to be incurred by gun bullet on his skull. Hence the matter was reported to the police who have claimed to be investigating the matter. Nevertheless, some plane clothe security personnel have swung into actions to perhaps unravel the mystery behind the killing.  But sources within Okpala and its environs have complained of incessant incidents of Okada snatching along the road. When Nigeria Moment visited the home of the deceased, everyone was on sober mood and none could respond to questions as at the time of filling the report.
Meanwhile, the Sam Mbakwe cargo airport community in Ngor Okpala local government area of Imo state has been thrown into perplexity over the alleged robbery attack at the airport Wednesday night. Nigeria Moment investigation revealed that accounts units of two airline operators including a micro finance bank were attacked and huge sums of money catered away. However, while police could not confirm the report as at press time, an internal security report disclosed that the hoodlums out powered the security on duty who were alleged to be on deep sleep when they struck. So before they could recover, the hoodlums had gained positions and messed them up as they left successfully unhurt. Meanwhile there has been no arrest as at the time of filling the story. Also the Airport Authority was seen jumping up and down aimlessly
