Imo state chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA has called on Igbo youths to show support for the APGA as a political party with Igbo ideology.

The state publicity secretary of the party Dr. George Nkwoji made the submissions Wednesday during his interactions with Nigeria Moment in Owerri. He further urged Igbo youths to join in the agitation for restructuring of Nigeria for effective provision of dividends of democracy without barriers. According to him, it is only APGA that has the political will to drive home democratic gains for the common man due to her well articulated-ideology which has placed Anambra above all other states of Nigeria.
The successful business mogul also disclosed that the current clamour for restructuring in Nigeria is neither tribalistic nor divisive, saying that every part of the country is entitled to benefit from it, at least Igbos will at one time in scheme of things share what he called “political equality”. According to him, it is for the benefit of the whole nation and once that is done at the national level, it would trickle down to state and local government areas in order to control the rising tension in the society. While emphasizing on the gains associated with restructuring, Dr. Nkwoji maintained that it will enhance trading amongst cities and create jobs "You know sometimes we need to go back to the ancient landmarks in order to move forward and every part of the country had resources to develop itself.
Nkwoji regretted that the people have stopped working, thinking and being creative about the business of development, hence he appealed to great number of Nigerians and youths to bequeath to the forthcoming generations part of what they benefitted “It is now up to the youths to change and think positively if they have to realize that. It is also up to them to change things. They need to have the vision and develop the courage to tell the world through the ballots what their visions are for a better society of theirs, maintaining that the youths must rise up to the challenges of building a greater society, with the optimism that sincere restructuring could guarantee a better society.
