Hon. Ikpeazu at the Owerri North APGA Secretariat, Awaka averred that his decision to vie for the House of Representatives position was to go and correct anomalies that past leaders meted on the people and improve on his indelible marks of achievements as recorded during his stay in the state Assembly representing Owerri North constituency.
Ikpeazu reiterated that if voted into power, his office shall ensure the empowerment of youths, women and men of Owerri Federal Constituency, comprising Owerri North, Owerri West and Owerri Municipal, adding that he will equally help in building the party to an enviable height.
He maintained in strong terms that he will never leave APGA and if he does, he will quit politics entirely.
In his address to the mammoth crowd that graced the occasion, the Deputy National Chairman of APGA Engr Uchenna Okogbuo who came all the way from Abuja to witness the declaration urged the people of Owerri Federal Constituency to rally round Hon. Ikpeazu towards achieving his noble ambition.
According to Engr. Okogbuo, Hon. Ikpeazu is a man of sincerity who is always committed and determined to serve his people and the party in general. In his own contribution, the Owerri North Chairman of APGA, Chief Vincent Amadi saw the declaration of Hon. Ikpeazu as the mother of all declarations and solicited for strong support for the former House member in his bid to go to Abuja to represent Owerri Federal Constituency. Chief Amadi urged the former state lawmaker not to forget all his campaign promises to the people if he finally succeeds.
