2019 governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA in Imo State, Sen. Ifeanyi Godwin Araraume, Saturday, held crucial meeting with all the party faithful and supporters at his Ishiebu country home, Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, saying that his meeting was to ensure that peace was restored amongst party members.

2019 governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA in Imo State, Sen. Ifeanyi Godwin Araraume, Saturday, held crucial meeting with all the party faithful and supporters at his Ishiebu country home, Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, saying that his meeting was to ensure that peace was restored amongst party members.


According to eyewitness account, the gathering which attracted thousands of party members and leaders from the 27 local governments of the state saw members of the party in joyous mood appreciating the standard bearer, Sen. Araraume who tagged the meeting "Reunion".
At the meeting, the Imo APGA State Chairman, Peter Ezeobi, expressed satisfaction over the large turnout of party members even as he presented the party Guber Candidate for the next year's general polls, Sen. Araraume and his running mate, Chief Barr. Stephen Ibe Nwoga to the members, saying that  "with Araraume and Nwoga,  government of APGA if elected into power by Imo people won't run an administration of anti-people's policy and there will be no room for the government of familiocracy like the current leadership led by Gov. Rochas Okorocha and APC".
The chairman, further implored them to always believe in the winning spirit of APGA in 2019 and  further encouraged them not to give up despite all political odds, pointing out that peace have been initiated amongst the party members at various quarters. He promised that will enthrone the best administrative option in terms of good governance in Imo state, come 2019.
"I am very optimistic that APGA shall never ever fail anybody in the state, if given the mandate in 2019".
In his own words, the Imo APGA Guber flag bearer, Sen. Araraume said “our party is matching towards Imo Govt. House in 2019. "I know my Deputy, Nwoga will deliver. People are now happy and excited with APGA. Our party is number one political platform poised to reclaim power from APC. We are winning team; Imo will be a better place after May 29th 2019. I have called all of you just to say thank you", Araraume said. he stressed that "I am happy that the President of Nigeria, Mohammadu Buhari, of APC, has promised all the political parties a free, fair and transparent elections in 2019. Your votes must be counted. Come out enmass to vote for APGA as part of your responsibility. We have deep grass rooted party membership. We are getting re-united. I know all aggrieved persons (aspirants and delegates) shall come back. We are indeed united as one big political family in APGA. I have continued to inform you that I am going to be announced as your Governor in 2019 by the grace of Almighty God", Araraume prayed.
Also, speaking Araraume' running mate, Steve Nwoga, expressed delight over his choice as Sen. Araraume's running mate. "You will recall that when I was contesting for Governor as an aspirant some months ago before the conclusion of our party primaries, I told you that my mission is to salvage the state and establish good governance where the masses would feel the dividends of democracy. Thank God, today, I have been chosen as running mate, by the special grace of God, we (APGA) shall win election in Imo State, in the South East and in Nigeria, come 2019. We are going to make history by the order of God. I believe to do everything positively to ensure that APGA wins the guber poll next year. I shall work in synergy with Araraume and everybody. We shall recover Imo State from the wicked hands of Gov. Rochas and his APC".
The Chairman, APGA Peace and Reconciliation Committee, Chief Jerry Chukwueke, declared "We are ready and poised to win election both in the State and at the Center in 2019. We are positioned to win elections in Nigeria. APC and PDP have damaged Nigeria. We are going to embark on aggressive campaign. We believe in physical restructuring (true federalism) to be able to break the hard paths of poverty. We shall not over look Agriculture, Power, Education and so many other social infrastructures. Our young graduates shall be fully engaged with good jobs. The era of open grazing must be over.. Insurgency must be dealt with", Chukwueke maintained.
