Imo state Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Dr George Nkwoji has shed more lights on the ongoing intrigues in the party where eight erstwhile members of the party claimed to have suspended the state Chairman, Barrister Peter Ezeobi.

Dr Nkwoji who spoke exclusively to Nigeria Moment after an emergency meeting of the state Exco in Owerri on Wednesday expressed shock that the former state Deputy Chairman, Dr Chima Nwosu could go to the extent of feeding falsehood to members of the public with the intention of misleading them.
According to the Publicity Secretary, the allegation of incompetence against the state chairman was very laughable because it was a known fact that Ezeobi is the man who rebuilt APGA and made it so attractive that the party attracted most of the top politicians in Imo state.
On the issue of mismanagement of funds, the Spokesman said that the allegation is false and baseless, explaining that payments ranging from membership cards, annual dues, delegates forms, nomination/ expression of interest forms were paid to national headquarters of the party and that so far Imo APGA has not even received its own dues from Abuja. He expressed shock why Dr Chima Nwosu, who was number two officer, with full knowledge of these facts should bandy such false propaganda to undiscerning public.
Dr George Nkwoji therefore called on members of the public to disregard every form of propaganda castigating Barrister Peter Ezeobi because they are the selfish grouse and agenda of an individual and advised that those who left the party should mind their business in their new political abode and should stop looking back at APGA.
