There were apprehensions at the Imo state House of Assembly over what people described as political tsunami over the decision of the court voiding the suspension of some members of the Assembly.

Nigeria Moment learnt that trouble started when the former suspended members stormed the Assembly Wednesday secretariat to resume sitting amongst their colleagues after their long recess.
Nigeria Moment observed that soon as the Speaker Rt. Hon. Acho Ihim and other few members of the House who came on time were into the hallow chambers for normal business, the Speaker got a signal indicating the arrival of four out of the five suspended members. Immediately the speaker rose and adjourned sitting to 13th November 2018 and at the same time he directed the sergeant at arms to put off every light in the complex. He then drove away.
An eye witness told Nigeria Moment that those of the lawmakers in the Speaker's camp equally ran away with him for the fear of their embattled colleagues. Nigeria Moment gathered that the speaker, Acho Ihim and the governor of the state, Rochas Okorocha may not serve out their tenures if urgent steps were not taken to forestall the looming tsunami. The speaker is likely to be the first casualty before the governor as the lawmakers have been meeting for the impeachment of the speaker and the governor which will come simultaneously over accumulated grievances including loss of party tickets and non-payment of entitlements.
