Chairman of the Ngor Okpala chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Morrison Njoku has described as deceitful the claims in some quarters and by certain people that a party called the Action Alliance, AA existed in the area.

Addressing a cross section of Imo journalists last Friday at his country home, Umuke Alulu in Ngor Okpala local government area of the state, the PDP Chairman posited that it amounted to hypocrisy for anyone to anticipate that AA was operational in the area causing anybody to think of the party wining elections, rather what existed was what he called “mixed multitude”. According to him, if the elections especially that of the governor were conducted hundred times, PDP must win in Alulu landslide, adding that there were neither feelings nor presence of the state government under Rochas Okorocha in the area despite the fact that there was a speculation that the outgoing government appointed a commissioner from their area. Such position he claimed was “abuse of portfolio, a round hole in a square peg” because there was nothing to justify the appointment.
The PDP chairman who was visibly angry over the political development in the area, stressed the one man called the commissioner cannot change the ideology of the people and that if Emeka Ihedioha had not won the governorship election, they would have asked the federal government to carve them out of Imo and joined them to Rivers state, because all the promises of the Okorocha led government since 2011 none was fulfilled, including mere road grading. Njoku opted that the only structure that has the capacity to change the system for good is PDP.
He quickly posited that the little PDP promised them through the House of reps member, Hon. Bede Eke were gloriously completed which include Nkwota market rehabilitation, school rehabilitations, solar system attracted by PDP and reticulation of the N10m water scheme, to mention but a few. He said that PDP is enjoyed the confidence of the voters and that culminated into victory, with the view that they have been tested and trusted.
He furthered that it was balderdash to say that AA can win any election in Ngor Okpala, particularly in Alulu community, stressing that people parading themselves as office holders of AA if it existed and the outgoing government worth nothing to the people.  On the hope of Imo people in the victory of PDP led by Chief Emeka Ihedioha, the Aba based business mogul turned politician stressed that Ihedioha would enthrone a participatory government anchored on due process. He said the PDP will restore local government operation, reintroduce the Development centers and create LG autonomy, stating that all illegally sacked LG personnel would be reinstated in order to make the people happy and the system viable and enviable.  The PDP chairman pointed out that Imo people will experience the best of administration in Imo state, noting that which Imo had lost would be restore. The governor will not bid for a job and become contractor and supervisor at the same time cash officer.
