The incoming governor of Imo state, Rt. Hon. Emeka Nkem Ihedioha has been tasked to move Adapalm to a higher productive height than he will be meeting it in few days.

The incoming governor of Imo state, Rt. Hon. Emeka Nkem Ihedioha has been tasked to move Adapalm to a higher productive height than he will be meeting it in few days.

The task was made by Imo Palm Ohaji /Egbema/ Agwa Landlords Association through it's chairman, Chief Kyrian Orjiaku (Okilo) recently. Chief Orjika who noted that the land lease agreement states that the landlords must be carried along in any business that concerns Imo Palm as the land donors begged the in coming government to always respect the terms of agreement between the landlords and the government. Describing Imo Palm as a big investment that can sustain the state he stressed on the need to always maintain the Palm plantation. 'The Palm trees need to be pruned, the field roads deserved facelift, the administration building at Nucleus and the Mill are supposed to be rehabilitated to enable the factory work at full capacity' The chairman reminded the in coming government on the need to resolve any pending matter concerning Imo Palm Plantation with any group. According to him Roche is in court with imo state government over the handling of the plantation. "Even the only equipments and implements use today in Imo Palm belong to Roche" The Chairman expressed dismay over government non payment of their entitlements as landlords and appealed for the payment as what can happiness to the people.
