The people of Owerri Zone are complaining of marginalization, if that's true, charity they say begins at home. The alleged political marginalization against Ngor Okpala is more in Owerri Zone than in any other zone. For instance, Owerri Zone is made up of 4 political blocs.

The people of Owerri Zone are complaining of marginalization, if that's true, charity they say begins at home. The alleged political marginalization against Ngor Okpala is more in Owerri Zone than in any other zone. For instance, Owerri Zone is made up of 4 political blocs.

THE MBAISE BLOC
This political bloc is made up of Aboh, Ezinihite and Ahiazu Mbaise LGAs. The bloc had produced two speakers of the Imo House of Assembly in the persons of Hon. Godfrey Dikeocha and Nuel Agwuocha Chukwukadibia. This same bloc had also produced a senator for eight years, Senator Chris ND Anyanwu. The bloc produced ministers, namely Prof. Viola Onwuliri, Mrs Chinwe Obaji and Prof. Fabian Osuji.
The Mbaise bloc had occupied the position of the Deputy Governor of Imo State Mrs Ada Okwuonu. We can't forget in a hurry that the Mbaise bloc produced a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representative Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, with Ngor Okpala mandate.
OWERRI LOC
The bloc has 3 LGAs which are Owerri West, Owerri North and Owerri Municipal. Undoubtedly, the bloc had taken its fair share of the Owerri zonal "cake." Owerri bloc has been able to control Owerri zone for years before now. The Owerri zone produced ministers, namely Dr Mrs. Kema Chikwe and Captain E. Iheanacho. The bloc also occupied the Ambassadorial position, the same Dr Mrs. Kema Chikwe took the slot. This zone had also occupied the position of the Deputy Governor of Imo State by Jude Agbaso and as well produced a senator in the person of Senator Eze Ajoku.
THE MBAIKE BLOC (Mbaitoli/Ikeduru)
This bloc is made of only two LGAs and the "MBAIKE" bloc has been so powerful in the political calculations of Owerri zone, having produced the only "short-lived" governor from Owerri zone, in the person of Evan Enwerem, who was later elected a senator and rose to become the senate president. The bloc also produced senator Ama Iwuagwu and now Incumbent senator Sam Daddy Anyanwu. Currently, the bloc has Eze Madumere as the number two citizen of Imo state.
NGOR OKPALA BLOC ?
NIL
NGOR OKPALA has lost its footings politically, a local government that produced the famous Dr Nnanna Ukegbu, is nowhere to be found in the contemporary Imo politics (Owerri Zone Agenda) yet some people have eyes, yet they cannot see the glaring marginalization. Even in their so called "coalition group", of what benefit will Ngor Okpala derive? (NIL). It is only this Rescue Mission administration of Owelle Dr. Rochas Okorocha (OON) that has given ndi Ngor Okpala real sense of belonging by appointing our sons and daughters into some key/sensitive positions. Today Ngor Okpala can now boast of a former Chairman of Local Government Service Commission (Attorney Matthew Nwogu) former Attorney General of Imo State, Hon Barr. Soronnadi Njoku, former Commissioner, Information and Strategy Dr TOE Ekechi, former Commissioner Commerce and industry, Barr Ogbonna Amadi, a former Accountant General and a serving Secretary to Government of Imo State in the person of Sir George Eche. These are among other numerous appointees currently serving in various capacities including my humble self, Hon. Blessing Nwanmerenini, Commissioner for Labour, Empowerment and Poverty Alleviation. The same governor Rochas Okorocha built 11 school blocks across Ngor Okpala, specialist hospital, constructed asphalted roads and bridges. The governor is also constructing another 60kms of road in the same Ngor Okpala, a gesture no one has ever seen before in the area.
With this wicked act on Ngor Okpala Bloc, through our brothers in Owerri Zone over the years, our best bet is to work/support Orlu Zone, who understands that yes, Ngor Okpala deserves a position, with our support for Orlu Zone, Ngor Okpala will in future regain all we have lost in the past. With this "Owerri Zone" political arrangement which never favoured Ngor Okpala for years, It will be impossible for any Ngor Okpala man to become a Governor, Deputy Governor, Minister or Senator under this arrangement, unless by the special grace of God.
Imagine that for twelve years, no Ngor Okpala son or daughter was allowed to represent Aboh Mbaise/ Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency, until we invited real men of God to intervene through praying and fasting. The Owerri Zone political arrangement is not in our favour at all, especially for Party Primary elections. Aboh Mbaise has twelve political wards while Ngor Okpala has eleven, for Senatorial seat, only God can do it for ndi Ngor Okpala.
My questions for Owerri Zone, what happens when you support an Ngor Okpala man to become a Senator? Minister? Can't we be Ambassadors? What about producing the Deputy Governor?
What of Speakership which you have all tested and enjoyed. This is man's inhumanity to man and must be corrected now or never. My good people of Ngor Okpala, the time is now, enough is enough, this group of desperate politicians called "coalition group", is not for the best interest of Ngor Okpala LGA, let's not allow this group of politicians who have been holding us hostage over the years to succeed again in the name of Owerri Zone agenda.
Support Ugwumba Uche Nwosu and expect better things for our people.  All those positions stated above have been ceded to Owerri zone before now and they could not find any son of Ngor Okpala worthy to serve, what an oppressed political bloc!! This is the time for Ngor Okpala renaissance. Owerri project is meaningless without an Ngor Okpala agenda. Equity is just and he who goes to equity must go with clean hands. But only in Imerienwe ward within past years, it has produced four local Government Chairmen namely and one Commissioner, Board Chairman, National Population Commission, whereas some wards in Ngor Okpala have not gotten any, yet people are talking about equity. It's only this government and continuity agenda that will address the imbalance and marginalization of ndi Ngor Okpala. Please support Ugwumba Uche Nwosu for Imo Governorship slot.
This is my opinion.
Ngor Okpala Must be better in our own time. Rescue mission continues.
